Note: In accordance with traditional Moroccan customs, the use of silverware will be optional at the guest's discretion.

October, 23, 2010 - Medieval Wine Dinner

My Lords and Ladies, imagine yourself in the days of old! Never having to use a fork, spoon, or knife. Dressing ragtag and no one caring. Dragons, war on horses, armor. Ahhh the pleasure of it!



Old House Vineyards is hosting a Renaissance Wine Dinner Oct 23, 2010. A night of letting loose, drinking wine, tearing into turkey legs and wiping your mouth on your sleeve!
The evening begins at 5:30 with swordplay on the island. There will be feasting and music in the pavilion and Medieval dance instruction.

Masquerade period wear encouraged. Ideas include court jesters, peasant farmer, a lord, a merchant, a knight (hopefully dashing), a lady in waiting, a bar maid, virgin maidens.
