An artist's rendering of a lakeside pavilion and island pergola shows what we imagined. The new pavilion and island pergola in the spring of 2010...a beautiful site for wedding ceremonies and receptions. The island on Old House Lake is the site for wedding ceremonies. A private dressing room is provided for brides upstairs in the old house. A wedding party makes its way from the pavilion to the island. A bride begins her procession through the vines to the island. Brides make an unforgettable entrance across the lake. Couples marry under the pergola. Newlyweds walk back through the vines for a quiet moment before the reception. The pathway outside the lakeside pavilion can serve as an outdoor cocktail area. The pavilion doors slide open allowing guests to flow easily between the outdoor and indoor spaces. The pavilion can accomodate receptions for up to 200 people using a range of table types and arrangements. The pavilion with 72" round tables. Old House provides white wooden padded chairs for the reception. Some brides choose to highlight the vineyard theme by using wine bottles as table numbers and providing descriptions of the Old House wine they will be serving. Guests enjoy the breathtaking view of the island at night.
